Tujia-style Steamed Pork is an important dish for the Tujia people to serve guests at local banquets and events. The main ingredient, marbled pork, is boiled, fried and steamed before being put on a layer of dried pickles. Though it’s made of marbled pork, it doesn’t taste oily at all, and instead, it’s smooth and delicious. The dish can normally be found in all restaurants in Zhangjiajie for visitors to have a taste.
